REOPENING DAM 41

The time has finally come! We are back at Schaumainkai – after the successful anniversary celebration of the German Architecture Museum plus reopening, we are delighted to welcome you back to the Museumsufer.

Architecture and Energy

The construction industry accounts for about 40 percent of the emissions responsible for climate change, and thus more than any other sector.

City for all

How do cities function? Who designs them, and how can you have a say? The “City for All” exhibition visualizes how urban planning can be readily comprehensible and tangible.

Plan. Werk. Stadt.

Even building culture education does not have to be dispensed with in times of DAM reconstruction! Whether on site in the interim DAM Ostend quarter or mobile in schools, in the city and on the web – equipped with ideas and material, we will visit you wherever you need us.

GRÜNDUNGSAKTE:N

A cooperation project of the Wüstenrot Foundation and the DAM.

In the coming months, previously unknown documents from the founding phase (1979 to 1989) will be brought to light and commented on on the research blog.

Become a friend

The Gesellschaft der Freunde des Deutschen Architekturmuseums e.V. (Friends of DAM) was founded in 1985 and supports DAM in the realization of its public duties, both in ideal form and materially. Can we count on you too?

EINFACH GRÜN auf Dächern und Fassaden. Call for Projects-Einreichungen ausgezeichnet

The DAM for kids and young people

The DAM’s education program offers children, schoolchildren, and adults access to architectural topics in a playful and practical way. We want to accompany children and young people into the world of architecture, and that begins on their own doorstep. The diversity of the topic makes it possible to connect to the lifeworld of our young guests and to introduce them to building culture and design possibilities.
