The DAM maintains a well-stocked reference library on Hedderichstrasse 108-110, which has been open to the public since 1989. The museum library contains more than 30,000 publications on architectural history from 1800 to the present day, a total of 80,000 volumes and essays on architecture are accessible. There are 12 reading places in the library, which allow concentrated work in a quiet and friendly atmosphere. Copier and scanner are available.
