The International Highrise Award (IHA) is regarded as the most prestigious award for highrise buildings in the world. Every two years, an international jury honours selected highrise projects that are distinguished by pioneering design, innovative construction engineering, urban integration and sustainability. The award was instituted in 2003 by the City of Frankfurt am Main, Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and the DekaBank.
