For the thirteenth time the architectural review Bauwelt has been tendering the Bauwelt Award “First Works” – this edition is a coproduction with Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and the company Solarlux. The jury selected five first realized projects out of 140 submissions – from the transformation of a historic privy to housing and the reinterpretation of a cinema’s base.
DAM Director Peter Cachola Schmal and Bauwelt Deputy Editor-in-Chief Jan Friedrich
will present the awards and open the accompanying exhibition on April 25, 2025
