    The International Highrise Award 2024/25 presents a selection of current highrise buildings from all over the world according to the following criteria: future-oriented design, functionality, innovative building technology, integration into the urban fabric, sustainability, and economic feasibility.
    This year, 34 projects from 13 countries were nominated for the International Highrise Award.

    The symposion, organized by the DAM and the CCSA, coincides with the centenary of architect Oswalt Mathias Ungers in 2026. Among his achievements is the conference on architectural theory, held in 1967 at the Technical University of Berlin. Now, nearly 60 years later, we would like to conduct a sort of “update” or re-reading of that conference while also observing the development of architectural theory up to the present day.
