The DAM Preis 2024 goes to GUSTAV DÜSING & MAX HACKE for the STUDIERENDENHAUS OF THE TU BRAUNSCHWEIG:
The jury was particularly impressed by the wonderfully light, open student house on the campus of the Technical University. The filigree structure of the building is also extremely sustainable, as the steel and glass construction can be completely dismantled and reused. The backstory includes an unusual and exemplary competition procedure that was advertised and organized by the Faculty of Architecture among the academic staff.
In 2024, the award will for the eighth time be bestowed by Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in close cooperation with JUNG as its partner – as part of a phased jury process.
