DAM OstendSince 2007, the DAM Prize for Architecture has been awarded annually to outstanding buildings in Germany. In 2021, the prize will be awarded by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) for the fifth time – in close cooperation with JUNG as a cooperation partner – in a staggered jury procedure.

In a similar way to the situation two years ago, a considerable decline in high-rises completed was to be observed. In many countries, delays
occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with both the associated supply chain problems and labor shortages. Nevertheless, as in previous years, it was still the case that nowhere in the world were as many high-rises erected as in China.

DAM On Tour in Berlin: Bauwelt-Preis 2023 – Das erste Haus
Architektur Galerie Berlin Karl-Marx-Allee 96, Berlin, Berlin, DeutschlandZum zwölften Mal verlieh die Architekturzeitschrift Bauwelt den Bauwelt-Preis „Das erste Haus“ — in diesem Jahr gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Architekturmuseum (DAM) und der Firma Kingspan. Aus 130 Einreichungen kürte die Jury sechs Erstlingswerke: Vom Umbauprojekt aus wiederverwerteten Baumaterialien über temporäre Interventionen bis zum Wohnungsbau, von der nachhaltigen Gestaltung eines öffentlichen Raums bis zum Bürogebäude.

DAM Ostend Henschelstr. 18, Frankfurt / M., Hessen, DeutschlandSeit 2007 werden mit dem DAM Preis für Architektur in Deutschland jährlich herausragende Bauten in Deutschland ausgezeichnet. 2023 wird der Preis vom Deutschen Architekturmuseum (DAM) bereits zum siebten Mal in enger Zusammenarbeit mit JUNG als Kooperationspartner in einem gestaffelten Juryverfahren vergeben.
