    DAM Preis 2023

    DAM Ostend

    Since 2007, the DAM Prize for Architecture has been awarded annually to outstanding buildings in Germany. In 2021, the prize will be awarded by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) for the fifth time – in close cooperation with JUNG as a cooperation partner – in a staggered jury procedure.

    The European Architectural Photography Prize has been awarded every two years since 1995, and since 2003 has been organized by architekturbild e.v. Cooperation partners are Deutsches Architekturmseum (DAM) and the Federal Foundation for Baukultur.
    In 2023 the first prize has been awarded to Nicole Keller & Oliver Schumacher from Hamburg.

  • DAM On Tour in Berlin: Bauwelt-Preis 2023 – Das erste Haus

    Zum zwölften Mal verlieh die Architekturzeitschrift Bauwelt den Bauwelt-Preis „Das erste Haus“ — in diesem Jahr gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Architekturmuseum (DAM) und der Firma Kingspan. Aus 130 Einreichungen kürte die Jury sechs Erstlingswerke: Vom Umbauprojekt aus wiederverwerteten Baumaterialien über temporäre Interventionen bis zum Wohnungsbau, von der nachhaltigen Gestaltung eines öffentlichen Raums bis zum Bürogebäude.

    Der Internationale Hochhaus Preis 2024/25 präsentiert eine Auswahl aktueller Hochhausprojekte auf der ganzen Welt, die sich durch zukunftsweisende Gestaltung, Funktionalität, innovative Bautechnik, städtebauliche Einbindung, Nachhaltigkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit auszeichnen

    Seit 2007 werden mit dem DAM Preis für Architektur in Deutschland jährlich herausragende Bauten in Deutschland ausgezeichnet. 2023 wird der Preis vom Deutschen Architekturmuseum (DAM) bereits zum siebten Mal in enger Zusammenarbeit mit JUNG als Kooperationspartner in einem gestaffelten Juryverfahren vergeben.

  • AWARD CEREMONY AND EXHIBITION OPENING: Bauwelt Award 2025

    For the thirteenth time the architectural review Bauwelt has been tendering the Bauwelt Award “First Works” – this edition is a coproduction with Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and the company Solarlux. The jury selected five first realized projects out of 140 submissions – from the transformation of a historic privy to housing and the reinterpretation of a cinema’s base.

    DAM Schaumainkai

    The presentation of entries to the DAM Preis 2026 showcases current architecture from Germany and notable projects by German architecture practices in other countries. From a longlist of over 100 buildings completed between fall 2023 and spring 2025, for the show a jury has selected 21 building ensembles in Germany and two examples abroad.
