With regard to the theme of this lecture series ‘Built Order. Storing Knowledge‘ we will talk about re-use projects of mostly monumental heritage. Buildings that carry knowledge of the city. How can we try to activate and interpret this knowledge in a natural way. Furthermore we are interested in the way an existing building can influence our approach to the programme. It is a way of thinking beyond the typical ‚typology‘, and of ordering the world with what is available.
