International Highrise Award 2020 – The Finalists
Five finalists for the International Highrise Award (IHP) 2020 have now been selected: Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) has chosen them from 31 nominated highrises in 14 countries. As in previous years, China is the country with the most high-rise projects. About every third sky-rise with a height of at least 100 meters is being built there. The enormous construction activity is also evidence by this year’s list of nominees, which includes ten projects in China. That said, high-rises are also increasingly being built in Europe and Africa. The Casablanca Finance City Tower in Morocco is the first high-rise building on the African continent to be nominated for the award.
Livestream Award Ceremony: Thur, October 29, 2020, Paulskirche
Exhibition: October 31, 2020 – February, 28 2021
